We created a journey through the nose to show doctors where the Xhance device could make a difference in the treatment of nasal polyps and chronic sinusitis.
Per Djupesland came to us with his remarkable invention: A device that uses the breath of a patient to deliver medicine higher and deeper into the nose than traditional nasal sprays.
The nose is remarkably complex, with its deep labyrinths and narrow passages to the sinuses. We let the patient to travel into a nose to see for themselves how deep the Optinose-nasal device can deliver medicine to relieve swelling and shrink polyps.
First by means of an animation, then both VR and AR experiences were created to be used for exhibitions and conventions.
Per Djupesland went on to win the prestigious European Inventor Award in 2021, given by the European Patent Organization.
